Integrating with Saltbox means your inventory, product information, orders, and shipment information will automatically sync between your online store and our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
The key will be that each thing a customer can buy has a corresponding SKU in your store. As long as every item has a unique SKU, we will be able to download the order and associate it to the items to pick.
If something a customer buys corresponds to picking multiple different items, we can accommodate that through a setup called kitting.
Saltbox can quickly integrate to your online store, with native, immediate integrations to:

- Magento 2
- Walmart Marketplace
- Google Store
If your store isn't listed, not to worry - we can connect to dozens of other stores through a middleware solution called Cartrover.
These connection requires a bit more time to set up and test and will require a per month connection fee to connect.
If you have an inventory or order management system you use to consolidate orders across multiple channels, we can normally establish a connection with those sources as well. Check for “Shiphero” in the list of integrations for your inventory management system.

We have multiple stores, can you connect to multiple stores?
Yes! We can connect to multiple channels at once, including multiple channels from the same platform (ex: two Shopify stores)
Do you have EDI capabilities?
Yes, we do have EDI capabilities. Integration requires 2 weeks and enables automated document transfer between the member and thousands of major retailers/businesses. This will also have a one time setup fee compared to other free connections
Will your WMS send emails to my customers?
Typically, no. Our WMS will send your store platform a notification that a shipment has been created and the tracking number at the time of processing, letting your store platform know to send the email.
This way, you control the branded elements of the email going to your customer but our system will automatically supply the tracking information to that template
Do I have to provide my customer’s email and phone number with each order?
An email address is required by our WMS to be contained on every order. An order can be made without a phone number but international shipments typically require a phone number be made available so we ask that all shipments have the ability to have one added
I have my own warehouse/another 3PL that I will be shipping from. How will you manage my inventory that is split across multiple locations?
For platforms like Shopify, we have the ability to have our Saltbox location only update a specific location in Shopify with inventory data. If your warehouse is one Shopify location and our location is another, each location’s inventory will be managed separately and you’ll be able to see the total in Shopify.
Different store platforms have different abilities to manager inventory quantities. If you have a specific case, we can investigate together or an inventory management system that integrates with our WMS may be the best option for you
