If an invoice isn't paid within 5 days of its due date, a 5% late fee is automatically added to your account. It will show up as a separate line item on your next monthly invoice. Additionally, late fees will not be charged if the payment is still processing.
Payments can take up to 5 business days to process depending on your bank and your mode of payment. During this time, the payment status will remain as "Awaiting Payment." Once the payment is posted, the status will update, and no further action is required from your end.
Example: If your invoice is $1,000 and it's still unpaid 5 days after the due date, a $50 late fee will be added to your next invoice.
