Sometimes an invoice changes — a correction, a discount, or a credit. Here's how those show up on your account.
Adjustments and corrections
If we correct or re-issue an invoice, you'll see a credit note that cancels the original amount and a replacement invoice with the corrected charges. Your total reflects the corrected version — the credit note isn't an extra charge.
Discounts
Promotional or term discounts appear as a reduction on your invoice. Keep in mind that if you end a fixed-term agreement early, discounts applied during your term are repaid at move-out.
Deposit credits
If you have an excess deposit — for example, after downgrading to a smaller suite — it's issued as a credit and applied to your open or upcoming invoice, or refunded on request. We'll note the amount and the reason on your account.
Where to see it
Adjustments, credits, and discounts are all visible in the Billing tab of the Saltbox app, with line items and downloadable invoice PDFs.
