How do I book Saltbox Fulfillment?

Get started with Saltbox's in-suite pick, pack, and ship service — starting at $3 per qualified order.

Saltbox Fulfillment is our dedicated in-suite pick, pack, and ship service for ecommerce members. Our on-site team picks orders from your inventory, packs them, and hands them off to carriers — so you can focus on growing your business.

Pricing:

  • Saltbox Fulfillment (standard): $3 per qualified direct-to-consumer order

  • Fulfillment Projects: $45/hour — for complex orders, wholesale, kitting, FBA prep, or anything outside standard pick & pack scope

  • Supplies and shipping: additional, billed at variable rates based on packaging and carrier service

Step 1 — Complete Saltbox Fulfillment Onboarding

Before your first order, your Location Manager will walk you through the Saltbox Fulfillment Onboarding — a structured 7-step assessment that captures everything our team needs to execute your orders consistently and accurately.

The onboarding covers:

  1. Service model — Standard fulfillment vs. fully managed operations

  2. Member info — Company, contact, target start date, order volume (average and peak)

  3. Volume, SKUs & weight — Total SKU count, SKUs per order, average item weight

  4. Inventory setup — How your inventory is organized in the suite

  5. Packing assessment — Complexity level, box sizes, packaging materials

  6. Special requirements — Custom inserts, branded packaging, kitting, returns handling

  7. System & process — Order management system, cutoff times, carriers, Slack contacts

When onboarding is complete, you'll receive:

  • A member-specific SOP documenting exactly how your orders should be picked, packed, and shipped

  • A rate sheet confirming your pricing

  • A quick reference guide for the on-site team to use during execution

⚠️ Onboarding is required before your first order. This makes sure the team has everything they need to execute correctly from day one.

Step 2 — Book Saltbox Fulfillment in the Saltbox App

Once you're onboarded, all Saltbox Fulfillment bookings happen through the Saltbox App — available on iOS, Android, or web at members.saltbox.com.

  1. Open the Saltbox App and tap Request a booking

  2. Select Saltbox Fulfillment

  3. Choose recurring or as-needed scheduling

  4. Add any details for the team and submit

Members on a dedicated daily or weekly schedule don't need to book each time — our team executes on the established cadence agreed during onboarding.

Need temporary or one-off pick & pack help?

If you only need short-term assistance — for example, during a launch, promotion, or seasonal surge — book through SOS (Saltbox Operations Support) at $45/hour rather than going through full Fulfillment Onboarding. Talk to your Location Manager to confirm which path fits your needs.
