Booking services

How to request Saltbox Labor, Flex Storage, and Space directly from the app.

Written by Angelica Javier

You can book Saltbox services from your phone or browser — no email chain, no phone tag. The wizard walks you through service selection, scheduling, and confirmation in a few minutes.

Services you can book

  • Saltbox Labor — Specialist work sessions for your operations.

  • Flex Storage — Storage intake and return.

  • Space — Meeting rooms and dock time.

How to request a booking

  1. Open the Saltbox App (mobile or web).

  2. Tap Request a booking.

  3. Choose a service. You'll see what's available at your location.

  4. Pick a resource (for Space bookings).

  5. Schedule it. The calendar shows real availability based on your location's hours and lead-time rules.

  6. Add details. Use the notes field for anything our team should know — special instructions, contacts, materials.

  7. Review and submit.

Your request lands in your location's queue, and our team takes it from there.

What happens after you submit

  • Pending — We've received your request and our team is assigning a specialist.

  • Confirmed — A specialist is assigned and your booking is on the calendar.

  • Declined — Occasionally, a request can't be fulfilled exactly as submitted (timing, capacity, or service availability). You'll see a status change, and your Member Lead will follow up to find an alternative.

You'll see status updates in the app. For mobile users, you'll also get a push notification when something changes.

Lead times and availability

  • Our locations book on a 48-hour lead time by default. Same-day bookings aren't available; this lets us staff appropriately and give every member a great experience.

  • Availability honors each location's specific service schedule. If a slot doesn't appear, it's because that service isn't running at that time.

  • Multi-day Space bookings are supported. Labor sessions are typically scoped to shorter windows.
