Viewing your invoices and billing

How to see what's due, download invoice PDFs, and pay your balance.

Written by Angelica Javier

The Billing tab gives you a full view of your account β€” open invoices, paid invoices, line-item detail, and downloadable PDFs.

Where to find it

Tap Billing in the app (mobile or web). Primary members see the full billing history for the company.

What you'll see

  • Invoice list with filter chips: All, Paid, Pending, Upcoming, Overdue, Cancelled.

  • Invoice detail with line items, subtotal, tax (broken out clearly), and total.

  • Download PDF button on every invoice for your records.

  • Activity history showing when an invoice was issued, paid, or had credits applied.

Paying an invoice

Today, invoices are paid through your member portal in our billing system. Tap the link in your invoice email or sign in to your billing portal to complete payment using your usual method.

In-app payments are coming soon. We're working on bringing card and ACH payments, autopay, and saved payment methods directly into the Saltbox App. For now, the Billing tab is your best place to view balances and download PDFs, and your existing payment process is unchanged.

Tax and line items

Tax is shown per line item rather than rolled into the total, so you can see exactly what you're being charged for and how it breaks down. If you need a different breakdown for accounting, the PDF download includes the same line-item detail.

A few common questions

  • Can I set up autopay in the app? Not yet β€” autopay is currently configured through your billing portal. We'll let you know when it's available in the app.

  • Where do I update my payment method? For now, in your billing portal. We'll bring this into the app as part of the in-app payments rollout.

  • An invoice looks wrong. Tap the chat icon in the app and our team will look into it.

  • I need a copy for my accountant. Open the invoice and tap Download PDF β€” that's the same document our system uses, with full line-item detail.
