If you're the primary member on your account, you control your team's access to Saltbox. The Team page lets you invite, manage, and deactivate teammates whenever you need to.
Where to find it
Open the Saltbox App and head to the Team page. Available on both mobile and web.
How to invite a teammate
Tap Invite.
Enter your teammate's email address.
Choose a role: Member or Primary Member.
(Optional) Add a personal message — it'll be included in the invite email.
Toggle Grant door access on or off based on whether your teammate needs to enter the building.
Send the invite.
Your teammate gets an email invite immediately. They click through, create their account, and (if door access is granted) complete their own identity verification on mobile.
If you ever need to send the invite again, just tap Resend from your Team page.
Roles, explained
Member — Standard team access. Most teammates land here.
Primary Member — Full management ability, including inviting other teammates.
Door access for teammates
If you toggle Grant door access on, your teammate will need to complete their own identity verification before they can enter the building.
If you toggle it off, your teammate can use everything else in the app (packages, bookings, billing, support) without needing to verify their ID. This is great for remote teammates or anyone who doesn't visit the building.
You can change the door access toggle for a teammate at any time.
Removing a teammate
When someone leaves your team or no longer needs access:
Open the teammate's detail view.
Tap Deactivate.
Their access is revoked immediately.
Deactivation is reversible — if someone returns or you deactivate by accident, just open their detail view and tap Reactivate. No data is lost.
A Heads Up: The Deactivate button takes effect right away. There's no second confirmation step yet (we're adding one), so double-check before you tap.
Common questions
Can I edit my teammate's name? Names are captured when your teammate creates their account, not when you invite them. If they need a name change after the fact, they can update their profile.
Do I need to add contractors or guests? The current roles are Member and Primary Member. For a one-off visitor, message your Member Lead — they can help arrange access another way.
My teammate didn't get the invite. Have them check their spam folder first. If it still hasn't arrived, tap Resend on their row.
